Markets, modeled.
Systems that run themselves.

I'm Edward, a quantitative trading and strategy professional in Trading Operations at Anchorage Digital in New York, after two years running exchange strategy at one of the largest crypto market makers. I work where execution meets data: modeling venue economics, routing flow to where it earns the most, and turning every repeatable decision into code. Off the desk I'm a serial entrepreneur, a Queens native, and a former wrestler who still measures most things by leverage and patience.

What I'm doing now

Fall 2026

Trading Ops at Anchorage Digital

Joined the trading operations team at Anchorage Digital, the federally chartered crypto bank, in June 2026. Bringing the same playbook: model the flow, automate the process, and let the data decide where the desk's edge is.

Venture

Building a creator-economy marketplace

A two-sided platform that connects brands with content creators and makes both sides more money. Currently in stealth, with two co-founders.

In motion

Standing up the company

Forming the New York entity, setting the operating agreement, and building the financial plumbing so the business can move fast once it launches.

How I work

Quant · Trading · Automation
Quantitative & data

Find the edge in the numbers

Venue economics, fee-tier optimization, rebate capture, P&L attribution, pricing methodology for new asset types. I build the models that tell a desk where the money actually is.

  • Python
  • SQL
  • R
  • Bloomberg BQuant
  • Tableau
Trading & execution

Move flow with intent

Routing global order flow across top-tier exchanges, designing order management and trade surveillance systems, and sitting in valuation and strategy committees where pricing decisions get made.

  • Crypto & digital assets
  • Credit & CLOs
  • Multi-asset
  • OMS design
Automation

Never make the same decision twice

Every repeatable process becomes a pipeline: reconciliation, integrity controls, reporting, venue reallocation. Freeing 30+ team hours a week is what lets a desk take on new products.

  • Pipelines
  • Reconciliation
  • C++
  • VBA
  • Cross-functional delivery

Good trading is mostly good plumbing. If the flow, the fees, and the data are modeled correctly and the process runs itself, the P&L follows.

Brands and creators, both earning more

Brands need a steady flow of authentic content. Creators need paying work without the agency cut and the guesswork. I'm building the marketplace that sits between them and makes the match, the brief, and the payout simple for both sides.

  • For brandsSource vetted creators, brief them once, get usable content back without managing twenty DMs.
  • For creatorsReal briefs, clear rates, payment that shows up. Build a body of work and get more of it.
  • The betA marketplace earns its keep only when both sides make more money because it exists. That is the entire design constraint, and it's the same one I apply to a trading venue.

    Anchorage Digital

    Member of Trading Operations

On the trading operations team at the first federally chartered crypto bank, working on the execution, settlement, and data infrastructure behind institutional digital-asset trading. The mandate is the one I've carried through every desk: model the flow, remove the manual steps, and make the numbers legible to everyone who trades on them.

  2. Jul 2024 to Jun 2026Crypto market making

    GSR Markets

Associate, Trading Strategy & Business Analytics

At one of the largest crypto market makers, I owned firmwide exchange strategy: modeling fee tiers, rebate incentives, and liquidity across top-tier venues, then reallocating global trading flow to where it earned the most. The analysis unlocked seven-figure annual savings and lifted net P&L efficiency by more than 15 percent. Alongside it, I retired low-ROI processes and automated what remained, which freed more than 30 team hours a week and gave the desk capacity to expand into three new trading products. I ran the roadmap across Engineering, Product, and Operations to turn that strategy into scalable trading infrastructure.

    SECOR Asset Management

Analyst, Quantitative Trade Technology & Strategy

Built the quantitative controls behind a multi-asset trading platform: automated trade integrity and surveillance systems in Python, SQL, and VBA that cut manual oversight by 60 percent and eliminated API data discrepancies across asset classes. Modernized the proprietary tooling portfolio managers and risk teams rely on, lifting decision speed and throughput by more than 40 percent. Sat on the Valuation Committee and in trading strategy discussions, evaluating new asset types and shaping the pricing methodologies used across the platform.

  4. Jun 2022 to May 2023Credit & CLOs

    MJX Asset Management

    Analyst, Credit Trading Technology

Designed and shipped a proprietary Order Management System in Python, SQL, and C++ that centralized portfolio, trading, and compliance workflows for a CLO manager, retired the legacy vendor stack, and cut reporting latency by more than half. Built the analytics layer on top of it: P&L visibility and CLO metric monitoring for Compliance, Accounting, and Investor Relations, fed by automated reconciliation pipelines and standardized data schemas that raised reporting efficiency 80 percent.

Wealth & Asset Management Group; earlier Data Science Marketing Intern

Started where finance meets data. Turned engagement data from the Barron's Advisor Summit series into partnership strategy, built a real-time client data portal so sponsors and advisors could pull personalized metrics on demand, and automated analytics workflows across Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Salesforce, halving reporting turnaround.

Beyond the desk

Hobbies and habits

Wrestling

The sport that taught me leverage, patience, and how to lose and come back. Still the discipline I measure everything else against.

Basketball

Pickup runs across Queens. Nothing resets a week like a full court.

Weightlifting

Compound lifts, tracked in a spreadsheet, because of course they are.

Armenian, from Fresh Meadows

Raised in Queens in an Armenian family, fluent in the language, and conversant in Russian. Growing up in a borough where everyone is from somewhere and everyone is hustling shaped how I think about work: it should be honest, it should be useful, and it should leave people better off than the handshake found them.

Where this is heading

Aspirations
  1. Near term

    Launch the marketplace

Ship the platform, sign the first brands, and prove that both sides earn more with it than without it.

  2. Building

Bring markets discipline to the creator economy

Five years of quantitative trading taught me how to design systems where money moves reliably and every party can see why. Creators deserve infrastructure built that carefully.

  3. Long game

Keep building ways for other people to earn

I'm a serial entrepreneur at heart. Every venture I start has the same test: does it create a new money-making opportunity for the people who use it? The marketplace is the current answer. It won't be the last.
